The Panchakarma therapies or procedures for elimination of vitiated doshas from the body are the modes of purification of doshas and channels.

Physical impurities play a major role in hiding our perfect nature even from ourselves — like dust building upon a mirror.  Yet such impurities lie way deeper within the human body than dust! Their accumulated effect is not only physical, but can also become emotional and psychological. Pain and suffering can actually affect and completely change your psychological makeup.

At Ayushakti, a perfect balance in health can be achieved through the potent internal detoxification called panchakarma. This cleansing process removes ‘Aam’ (toxins) and excess dosha (Vata, Pitta or Kapha). Over the past 25 years, thousands of people from all over the world have spent time at our Ayushakti Ayurved clinic in Mumbai , India to experience the power of this ancient rejuvenating technique.

Just a single drop of water doesn’t completely fill a vessel.  Yet over time, drops take up more and more space within a jar. When it comes to the body, these ‘drops of water’ are tiny bits of Aam and excess dosha that accumulate over periods of time. External massage and diet by themselves may not be enough to remove these toxins.  Internal purification becomes a must.  For thousands of years panchakarma has been practiced in India as an instrumental limb of the Ayurveda healing system. Now more and more westerners are learning about its incredible healing power firsthand.

At Ayushakti, the precise health of each person is first diagnosed by checking the pulse. Panchakarma is tailor-made — each person’s regime is different and performed using potent specific herbs, healing techniques and herbal oils. In a scientific and systematic manner, toxins are first dislodged and then flushed at the cellular level — from each and every cell. This transformative detoxification process uses the body’s natural organs of elimination — sweat glands, blood vessels, the urinary tract and the intestines. The overall result is magical!  The body is renewed!

The optimal length of time for panchakarma is five weeks.  But if your schedule doesn’t permit that much time, a shorter yet effective cleansing can be done. Following this deep detoxification, the factory of your human body functions like new!  All the food you eat is digested very well, gets absorbed and transformed in to new cells.  Your body will radiate with new life and immunity!
